Seven Kestrel IRM
Scope of Work
James Fisher Offshore (JFO) have supported our valued customer Subsea 7 with ongoing IRM services in the North sea over several scopes of work. The scopes JFO typically support provide routine and non-routine diver and ROV IRM services in the UKNS, including fault finding, scale squeeze, control system testing, tie-ins of recently installed step-out and manifold wells, and hose change outs.
Operating on their diving support vessel the Seven Kestrel, our most recent project included the supply and
operation of two hydraulic winches and a FL80T9 marine crane. The winches operated simultaneously, with one winch in constant tension while connected to the platform jacket subsea, and the second winch deployed kit using the first winch wire as a guide. The FL80T9 marine crane supported golden gate diving operations.
Scope of Supply
1 x HGG8-Z Hydraulic winch
1 x HGG8-L Hydraulic winch
- Lifting capacity of 1500kg at 21m
Part of the JFO team have been fortunate to have visited the Seven Kestrel in port, offering insight into the operation and logistics of a working back deck. This proved to be an invaluable experience for the JFO team, enabling them to integrate with the DSV project team and further understand and support campaigns for this vessel.
